Who Should Get a Flu Shot this Fall?

The flu vaccination can reduce your chances of getting the flu as well as the risk of serious complications if you do. Whether you decide to get a flu shot or not this fall, keep the right Chloraseptic® Liquid Center Lozenges on hand to relieve sore throats from both the flu and the common cold.

While nearly everyone may benefit from the flu shot, it is highly recommended that the following groups get vaccinated:

  • Those who are age 50 and older, especially people over 65.
  • Individuals with chronic diseases such as heart and lung disease, diabetes and asthma.
  • Family, friends or caregivers in close contact with people at high risk of complications from the flu and with young children and the elderly.
  • Individuals with weak immune systems.
  • Healthcare personnel and residents of nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
  • Children from ages 6 months to 4 years of age.

People who are allergic to eggs or have had a bad reaction to the flu shot in the past should consult with their doctor before getting vaccinated.

As we enter the fall cold and flu season, remember to take the right Chloraseptic® Liquid Center Lozenges with you wherever you go to provide your entire family with fast acting, long lasting relief of sore throats.
